From design to finished build
Whether you're moving offices, need a refurbishment or a complete fit out, Recess Interiors makes it easy for you. We work closely with you to understand your business, your staff and your brand to create an office that looks great and is functional.

We've been creating inspiring office interiors for 20 years so we've got it down to a fine art. Over the years, we've developed a formula that works for all our clients, and ensures that your project is completed successfully to brief, to budget and to deadline. Every time.

The initial consultation
This is free and you're under no obligation to use us after this meeting. A project manager and design consultant will meet with you in your current office. This gives us the chance to really get to know your business. We'll discuss the plans for your new office, and the environment and atmosphere you envisage for them. We'll talk about future growth as this is important in all the office interiors we create. And of course, we'll discuss your budgets and your timelines. You'll have the chance to ask any questions you may have.

Concept and design
Our expert design consultant will then interpret your requirements into what we call test fit and concept drawings. This allows you to visualise the space we aim to create for you. We involve you every step of the way at this stage. If you approve these, we go on to create 3D visualisations which show you exactly how your new office will look.

Design presentation
We'll come back to your offices to present our designs. This gives you the opportunity to make changes, if required, and to finalise details. And if you want, we'll create a walkthrough presentation which allows you to "experience" your new office.  It's only at this stage that you decide whether you want to use our office design services. There’s usually no obligation until now.

The legal bit
So, let's assume you're happy with our designs and you like us. Now there's a bit of paperwork to go through. We need to ensure that all landlord and Health & Safety documentation is prepared and is in order. We're hot on compliancy and always make sure that we conform to Construction, Design and Management regulations, for example. You don't need to worry too much about it. We're experts in building regulations and will guide you through this stage.

The works
This is the bit we really enjoy but we appreciate you might feel a little stressed. You'll be pleased to hear that we take full responsibility and we're used to working around working offices if you're not moving location. We'll ensure there's minimum disruption to your business. All work is overseen by your dedicated project manager who will ensure the project runs smoothly and to schedule. We'll also keep your staff updated with what's going on so you'll have their complete buy-in.

Aftercare support
Once we've handed your brand new office over to you – and that really is the exciting bit – we don't just leave you there. We'll provide you with a maintenance service for additional work if necessary. And we'll stay in touch with you to make sure you're completely happy with your office interior and that it’s doing the job we promised it would.
